We don't all agree with the policies of President Obama, nor will we all agree with those of President Trump. But we all share a deep deep hope: for unity and opportunity in our nation, for all. Regardless of which side of the aisle you stand on; regardless of your race, creed, age or gender, we are all American.
Unquenchable fire for freedom has been the foundation of our country: from the bitter winter in Valley Forge, to the inauguration of our first president; from the freedom cry of slaves in the south to our 44th president being our first African American; from the tragedy of Pearl Harbor to the triumph of Normandy; from the Great Depression and WWII were birthed "The Greatest Generation", and today our Millennials lead us into the future with care for the environment and equality. We are diverse. We are a tapestry, a coat of many colors. Above all, remember what makes America great, strive for unity and common ground. Let's play our part.
