High Standards

We hold high standards for our employees – they must be competent, kind, respectful, and professional.

Our staff is comprised of Home Health Aides (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Companions and Homemakers. All caregivers are bonded and insured with professional liability and worker’s compensation, and are employees of Golden Horizons. We offer group health insurance and a 401K retirement plan. We treat our caregivers as we expect them to treat our clients: with kindness and respect.

Each caregiver is personally introduced and oriented to the individual client and home care plan. They are required to submit a weekly activity sheet and keep pertinent notes on each client in a communications notebook located at the client’s home. Monitoring by our office staff is conducted through communication with the caregivers, clients, family, and other professionals (as necessary) to assure quality service.

We use a phone monitoring (telephony) system to properly account for all hours worked. We do our utmost to match the specific needs of the client with the capability, personality, and proper skill set of the caregiver.
