Mission
The mission of Golden Horizons is to provide in-home services and care to the elder population along the Connecticut Shoreline and in the Greater Hartford area, that is recognized by our clients for its excellence in its ability to personalize the care to the needs of the person being served. In this effort it is our intention to operate in a manner professionally sensitive to the concerns of the family, involve the skills and knowledge of a thoroughly trained and screened group of caregivers, and fully utilize our resources to provide the peace of mind and satisfaction that is derived from improving the quality of life for the elder segment of our population.
It is our goal to allow the elderly to remain independent in the comfort of their home. Through our many services we encourage self-sufficiency and provide personal care, homemaking, and companionship. A thorough assessment is completed on each client in order to provide an individualized, comprehensive care plan that can be monitored by our staff, including an RN review and follow-up.
We are registered with the State of CT as a Homemaker-Companion Agency (Reg#HCA.0000133) and are approved by a number of Long Term Care insurers.
